Spatially Aware announced today the prerelease of Map Suite Map Engine Edition. The product is a powerful low level component providing full control over the mapping presentation. The engine is a non visual component library designed to generate maps and is ideal for those developers who want the flexibility to build their own interfaces to the powerful Map Suite API. Several sample applications are included to help get .NET Developers on their way to quickly and easily adding mapping functionality to their applications.
"We provided this product because we know that there are developers who like to be able to implement certain interfaces on their own whether the requirements of their project or organizational standards demand it." said Donald King, Media Relations. "We think developers who have those types of requirements, or just want more control over the rendering of their maps, will find this edition will really meet their needs."
All Map Suite products are built in .NET and do not use COM Interoperability or other proprietary applications or services. Free trial downloads are available at the Spatially Aware download site.
