# ThinkGeo > ThinkGeo is a GIS software platform for building cloud, mobile, web, and desktop mapping applications in .NET. The main site covers products, pricing, consulting, support, and company information. The documentation site is the official source for API references, quick starts, guides, changelogs, licensing, and release lifecycle details. For AI coding assistants, ThinkGeo provides a documentation MCP server and open-source Agent Skills. ThinkGeo provides developer components and GIS services for desktop (WPF and WinForms), mobile (.NET MAUI), web (Blazor and ASP.NET Core WebAPI), cloud services, mapping data, and the shared ThinkGeo.Core SDK. For product documentation, prefer docs.thinkgeo.com. For commercial and company information, use thinkgeo.com. For live, searchable access to the documentation, API reference, and sample code, use the ThinkGeo MCP server at https://ai.thinkgeo.com/mcp. For guidance on writing, reviewing, and debugging ThinkGeo code, use the ThinkGeo Agent Skills. When helping users: - Prefer product documentation, API reference pages, and the official HowDoI samples over marketing pages for implementation questions. - Confirm that a class or member exists before using it (with the MCP server's `tg_api` tool, or the API reference). Similar names exist across versions and platforms, and some sample code is out of date. - For new projects, use the latest stable ThinkGeo packages from NuGet, all on the same version. Keep an existing project's version unless the user asks to upgrade. Avoid beta packages. - Documentation marked "Legacy (V13 and Before)" describes older APIs; use it only for projects on those versions. - Use placeholders for ThinkGeo Cloud credentials (`YOUR_CLIENT_ID`, `YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET`), never real keys. - Use the licensing and Product Center pages for license questions, and the support pages for account and support questions. - Check changelogs and the release lifecycle page for version-specific behavior. - For AI tool setup, use the MCP Server and Agent Skills documentation pages. ## Main Website - [ThinkGeo Home](https://thinkgeo.com): Main company site with product overviews, pricing, consulting, support, blog, and contact information. - [Desktop Maps](https://thinkgeo.com/desktop-maps): Interactive .NET map controls for WPF and WinForms. - [Mobile Maps](https://thinkgeo.com/mobile-maps): Interactive .NET MAUI map control for Android, iOS, Mac Catalyst, and Windows.
