ThinkGeo 14.5 Is Here!
We’re excited to announce ThinkGeo 14.5, packed with new features and performance enhancements for your mobile, desktop and web applications.
This update delivers significant improvements to our ArcGIS Rest layer and WFS layers as well as more improvements in stability and performance across all products.

Asynchronous WFS 2.0 Support

ThinkGeo UI 14.5 adds a new layer for asynchronous loading and rendering of WFS 2.0 services.
The new WfsV2AsyncLayer improves service compatibility, query generation, and property-name handling, making WFS integrations more reliable and easier to maintain.
Asynchronous ArcGIS Rest Service Support
14.5 includes the new ArcGisServerRestVectorAsyncLayer, an asynchronous layer for querying and rendering ArcGIS Server REST vector feature services, giving developers a cleaner and more direct way to work with ArcGIS-backed vector data.
Performance and Stability Improvements
The 14.5 release also includes a major Desktop stability improvement by replacing the GeoImage to WriteableBitmap conversion path with a safer fallback path, eliminating a class of potential race conditions that could cause AccessViolationException crashes.
Additionally, on the mobile side, the 14.5 release fixes fixes significant .NET MAUI memory-leak issues by properly releasing tile-view resources, detaching vector-tile event handlers, and disposing native image objects, reducing memory growth in long-running map sessions.
