ThinkGeo UI 13.0 Released
The team at ThinkGeo are excited to announce the release of ThinkGeo UI 13.0 with new features, performance improvements, bug fixes and much more! Some of the highlights are below, but you can also view our full changelog here.
Performance Gains, Improved Stability and More
ThinkGeo 13.0 includes across-the-board performance improvements on Desktop and Mobile as well as gains across all products on our web-based tile layers for Google, Bing and ThinkGeo Cloud.
This release also adds complete, up-to-date support for over 8,000 EPSG SRID codes for reprojecting your maps.
TextStyle Enhancements and Snapshots
At the request of the ThinkGeo Community, we’ve included enhancements to the TextStyle class allowing flexible multi-column labeling. We’ve also enhanced our ‘snapshot’ functionality to save the map as a geoimage, jpg or png. Examples of using both new features can be found in our How Do I Samples.
Enhanced File GeoDatabase Support
This release also has improved support for ESRI .gdb files leveraging the File GDB API library. This brings improved performance and a more complete feature set than our previous GDAL-based solution. An example of the new File GDB support can be found in our How Do I Samples.
Updated CAD File Support and a Commitment to ODA Membership
ThinkGeo has partnered with ODA to ensure continued support for your georeferenced .dwg files. The 13.0 release is updated with the 23.3_17 version of ODA.
Support for GeoPDF and Improved KML
ThinkGeo 13.0 also introduces another long-awaited feature - GeoPDF support to render all your geo-referenced .pdf files. We’ve also enhanced our support for .kml files. You can check out examples of using both features in our How Do I Samples.
Thank you for supporting us as we continue to bring you a complete set of mapping and GIS tools for your .NET applications! We are excited for 2023 as we’re adding new features and planning for a release with MAUI support.
